Le Duc - Célébration

Le Duc (aka Didier Mignot) first release, Célébration, is emotional, textured and beat driven music that compares to an ethnic cinematic and spiritual journey. In Le Duc`s words: “the concept of the album hinges on the equilibrium between the atmospheric ambience of the spiritual currents (the spirit) and the rhythm of techno-world music (the body)”. The album is a smorgasbord of Eastern cultures that offers a fusion of spiritual songs with contemporary electronic dance rhythms such as ambient dub and tribal house. Le Duc shines at the complex task of producing tracks that reveal several influences of Eastern instruments, music and culture and thus creates an entrancing debut album.
