What about volunteering?

Just Dance requires lots of good work to keep it running and flourishing. There are of course the front guy, Abheeru who DJ and take care of many adminstrative and background duties. He is supported by an energetic bunch of great volunteers. But as Just Dance keeps expanding, we would like to also invite new volunteers to join us!

As one of life’s most rewarding experience, the sharing your gifts and talents that in some way create a positive change for others. Our volunteers have also told us that they have enjoyed discovering more about themselves and others while having fun.

 

Tasks available

We are supporting a volunteering atmosphere that encourages everyone to give of themselves from their joy and love. There are many different jobs, small or big for you to choose depending on what you feel drawn to.

At the dance:

  • set-up and break down *
  • greeting/welcoming at the door
  • hall maintenance

Background Duties:

  • marketing and broadcasting *
  • creating alliances *
  • coordinators
  • community building
  • planning special events such our upcoming 15th Anniversary!!! *
  • distributing posters
  • writing and/or editing
  • graphics & website (expansion & maintenance)
  • typing

Or anything you will love contributing which you feel Just Dance would benefit from.

 

How is volunteering organized?

All volunteer tasks are well organized and have flexible commitments. In this way, volunteers can contribute or develop their talents and skills in a manner that allows them to be true to themselves. Besides getting free admission to Just Dance, free Just Dance music, volunteer can also enjoy fun, food, and friendship several times during the year at our volunteer parties where we socialize and plan future events.
